Step-Up for Down Syndrome

On Sunday, October 6, the Charles and Dyann Clark family once again led members of GCI Memphis to the annual "Step-Up for Down Syndrome," one of the largest disability awareness events in the Mid-South. It is a fun, family-friendly event that includes live entertainment, a picnic, and children's activities. In addition, the Walk raises funds that enable the local association to operate year round.

The Clark family has participated in the Walk for the past eight years. Their daughter, Ebonee, who is a member of the Down Syndrome Board, participates in the fundraising drive and her team placed second in her category for the second straight year. Over the years, Ebonee's team has placed several times at different levels.
