Legendary Dodgers announcer Vin Scully just completed 66 years as the voice of the team that just cemented three in a row division championships.
Scully has been a devout Catholic all his life coming from an Irish mother in New York City. When his first wife died in 1972 leaving him with three children Scully doubled down on his church commitment.
"The tough moments are when you need God most. He's always there and more than happy to give his help."
Vince Scully is now recovering from surgery and hopes to launch season 67 next year. An inspiration.
