Doctor Strange is creating large lines at the theatres. Director Scott Derrickson likes to use the supernatural to "explore the difference between Darkness and Light."
A Christian, Derrickson claims to have been influenced in his presentations by The Screwtape Letters of Christian writer C. S. Lewis. Lewis used the supernatural to refer back to matters of faith.
To see how well Derrickson did I guess we have to watch the movie.
