Rising star Mark Wahlberg makes no bones about how much church means to him. He told LA Times he carries a prayer book with him on set and attends church regularly.
This squares with the report that the former "Transformers" lead man and East Coast ditchdigger now worships at Mass Sunday mornings and then drives home to roust his four children out for Sunday 11 AM services.
Many raise eyebrows when Christians claim actors as some of their own but Wahlberg is one of many who chooses to remain "quietly Christian" while making no bones about his faith committment when interviewed.
