Kirsten Powers

Columnist Kirsten Powers, sometimes FOX news interviewer, tells Christianity Today about how breaking up with an evangelically oriented boyfriend led her to become a more committed Christian.

Coming to Washington and the Clinton White House from Alaska, the lukewarm Episcoplian learned about more intelligent committed faith from exposure to the writings of C.S. Lewis and Pastor Tim Keller of the Lower East Side. She was soon pondering the faith a lot more.

A self-admitted appearance by Jesus and a series of interactive Bible Studies sealed her move to a more fervent faith. This move to Jesus has made her some enemies but not as many as her move to FOX.
