‘Do You Believe?’

Promoting her new faith-themed movie "Do You Believe?" which she starred in and helped produce, Cybill Shepherd told Access Hollywood about her own private return to God.

In answer to the question whether faith-based movies are a hot new trend she replied rightly that Bible movies are a consistent Hollywood staple. "The first movie my parents took me to see was The Ten Commandments in the mid-1950s."

If we were to stop and think about it, such films as "The Robe" (1953), "Ten Commandments" (1956) and "Ben Hur" (1959) are still hard to beat in terms of biblical epics (and box office) and were unforgettable to those who first saw them.
