Bible Clubs are forming in more and more schools and Carlos Nicasio (center) has taken his to a new level providing instruction and hands-on minsitry at Sweet Union High School in California.
A former rapper and graduate of juvenile hall, Carlos turns his Urban Youth Collaborative to such tasks as showing up for teen funerals when tragedy strikes to decorative murals stressing redemption and hope.
"I see myself in these young people," says Carlos, a Fuller Seminary graduate, and the results speak to his hard-won empathy.
