Bob Wieland

Called "Mr. Inspiration" by President Reagan, Bob Wieland lost his legs in Vietnam helping another solider to the helicopter.

Almost left for dead in 1969 he rebounded to learn to walk on his hands – and did he ever walk. He crossed America on his hands in three years, eight months and six days.

A sought-after motivational speaker, he told Coach Harry Sneider "The best Vitamin in the world is Vitamin B-I-B-L-E." He's still at it, power-biking across the country as we write, advertising the cause of the vets and the physically challenged.
