Alan Jackson's 6 Country Music Awards

Country/honky tonk singer Alan Jackson, a dedicated family man, 1991 Opry inductee, and an owner of 50+ singles on the Billboard List began as a young Gospel singer in his native Georgia.

The silky-toned crooner who wrote the most memorable song following the events of 9/11 got to make a Gospel album in 2006 and is known for launching into such Christian standards as "Leaning on the Everlasting Arms" during his many sold-out concert appearances.

He's famous for giving good shows and offending no-one's sensibilities. Keep on singing, Alan.
