‘Amigos Sin Fronteras’

The words mean “friends without borders” and for many years now former Glendora GCI attendees Raul and Paulina Sifuentes have been serving in this medical-evangelical relief mission to the poorest of the poor in the hills of Mexico.

This time they were reaching people outside Veracruz.

The video speaks for itself but on October 11 Mr. Sifuentes told us that the lineups for food and clothing and medical assistance start at 2AM in the morning. “Not just the poor participate. People come to our stations because medicine is so expensive,” said Raul.

Some religious groups persecute the team because there is so little knowledge of God and what Jesus was all about in the hill country. On the last trip the team consisted of 5 doctors, 1 dentist, all volunteers. They distributed:

The need is always great and the Sifuentes thank Glendora church for its financial support but especially for their prayers. Both we are only too happy to provide. “Blessed are the poor” Jesus taught and we cannot escape this call to mission.
